Yes I understand that I haven't posted since last August and I apologize!
A few weeks ago I went to the 4-h holiday food fair where you make food that has to do with a holiday and I chose Easter. I made fondant flower cupcakes with chocolate bunnies and homemade buttercream forsting.I may not have won a medal but I sure had alot of fun!

Sorry i havent posted for a while in case anyone had noticed.We went on vacation in Hawaii.We had lots of fun scuba diving and relaxing on the beach and now I am in command mode looking for the next great thing.Could be an art project could be a mango chutney recipe.Keep reading for lots of fun stuff to do.

the cleanup and set up are both incredibly easy and they turn out delicious!

you will need:
1. one cup of butter
2. 1/2 cup of brown sugar
3. one egg
4. two tsp. vanilla
5. 1/4 tsp salt
6. 2 cups flour
7. finley chopped walnuts
8. jam or jelly

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Beat together the butter and sugar until creamy.Stir in the egg and vanilla..Add the flour and salt .Mix well
3. Form the dough into one inch balls.Place the walnuts on a work area (plate, plastic wrap, cutting board)and roll the balls in them.Place on the baking sheet about an inch apart and make an indent with your thumb.
4. bake 10 minutes or until firm.cool for three minutes and then transfer to a baking sheet.
5.fill each indent with jam and enjoy! :)
